In partnership with artist Nicki Minaj, Myx Beverage LLC launched fruit-infused, single-serve Myx Fusion Moscato beverages. Available in Coconut, Peach and original Moscato varieties, the carbonated drinks contain 5.5 percent alcohol by volume and are packaged in cobalt blue bottles with twist-off caps that offer the convenience of beer with the elegance of wine, the company says. A four-pack of 6.3-ounce bottles has a suggested retail price of $9.99.
PAVING THE WAY FOR WHEY
New Whey Nutrition launched a new protein drink line designed to help consumers restore, rehydrate and recover. Available in Pomegranate Acai Blueberry, Peach Mango and Watermelon fl avors, NuAquos drinks contain 12 grams of protein, 19 vitamins and minerals, fi ber, electrolytes and functional carbohydrates. A 20-ounce bottle retails for approximately $2.99.
 
  WHISKY INFUSION
Pulling infl uence from Brown-Forman Corp.’s Canadian Mist brand, Mist Flavors launched in 14 markets in the United States. Available in Peach Mist, Cinnamon Mist and Maple Mist varieties, the spirits are crafted by blending Canadian Mist whisky with proprietary fl avored liqueurs. Containing 35 percent alcohol by volume, each Mist Flavors beverage is available in 50- and 750- ml bottles. A 750-ml bottle retails for approximately $9.99.
COOL BEANS
Chameleon Cold-Brew added three fl avors to its line of cold-brewed coffee, which is made from certifi ed organic and Fair Trade Arabica coffee beans. The new varieties are East African, Indonesian and Mocha Coffee, which each feature a fl avor profi le stemming from the region from which the coffee was sourced, the company says. The East African variety features berry fl avors; the Indonesian variety is a heavier coffee with earthier fl avors; and Mocha Coffee is a sweeter offering based off of the brand’s original Chameleon Cold-Brew product, it explains. Each SKU is brewed for more than 16 hours at a low temperature to produce a less acidic, extra caffeinated coffee, it adds. A 16-ounce bottle has a suggested retail price of $5.49.
 
  KEEPING KOSHER
After launching its L’Chaim Kosher Vodka brand earlier this year, L’Chaim Kosher Vodka and Wines Co. added two kosher wines to its portfolio. Available in red and white varieties, the wines were produced by Herzog Wine Cellars, which is one of the largest producers of kosher wines, the company says. Each 750-ml bottle of wine contains 9 percent alcohol by volume and retails for less than $5.

W.G. Barr Beverage Co. launched T.W. Pitchers’ Snake Bite in San Francisco. Based on a popular British pub mixed drink, T.W. Pitchers’ Snake Bite is a bottled blend of lager and apple cider with 5.1 percent alcohol by volume. A four-pack of 12-ounce bottles has a suggested retail price between $7.49 and $7.99.

Cabana Boy Beverage Co. LLC introduced a line of Girls Nite Out (GNO) Margaritas. With 15 percent alcohol by volume, GNO Margaritas are available in Blissful Blue Razz, Wild Watermelon, Playful Pomegranate and Mystical Mango fl avors. Each variety is made with blue agave tequila and fruit juice. A 750-ml bottle has a suggested retail price of $15.99. A percentage of the brand’s annual proceeds will be donated to Autism Speaks, an autism science and advocacy organization.

Herbal Water Inc. launched Ayala’s Herbal Teas in Peppermint Melissa Spearmint, Nutmeg Cacao Nibs Cardamom, Chamomile Bergamot Vanilla and Rooibos Cinnamon Rose Petal varieties. Each tea infuses herbs, spices or other botanicals into water and is caffeine- and calorie-free. A 14-ounce bottle has a suggested retail price between $1.59 and $1.69.

Be Well Nutrition Inc. partnered with Molly Kimball, a registered dietician and lead nutritionist with Ochsner's Elmwood Fitness Center, to create all-natural Iconic Healthy Lifestyle Beverages. Available in Chocolate Truffl e, Pure Vanilla Bean and Wild Strawberry fl avors, the drinks contain ingredients to help satisfy hunger, increase focus, enhance energy and aid in fat metabolism, the company says. The beverage also acts as a meal replacement, with 20 grams of protein and fi ber as well as 130 calories in a carton, it adds. An 11-ounce carton retails for approximately $3.49.

HealthGuard Wellness LLC launched Be Skinny dietary supplement shots featuring ingredients that were clinically tested to suppress appetite and reduce cravings.   NAUGHTY EXPANSIONS
Independent Distillers added two fl avors to its Naughty Cow liqueur brand: Raspberry and Cake. Naughty Cow Raspberry combines chocolate with the sweet and tart fl avor of raspberries, and Naughty Cow Cake pairs chocolate and cake fl avors, the company says. Like the original, both new fl avors are made with high-quality vodka and feature a milkprocessing technique developed by Independent Distillers that creates a real-cream beverage with a chocolate fl avor, it adds. FROM CSDS TO ENERGY
For the fi rst time in its history, The Double Cola Co. launched a line of beverages outside of the carbonated soft drink (CSD) category. Quad Energy drinks were developed to fi ll a consumer need for high-quality, low-cost energy drinks, the company says. The line is available in Re-Charge, Orange Twist, Low Carb Kick, Berry Fusion and Lime Craze varieties, which were selected to appeal to men between the ages of 18 and 34. A 16-ounce can has a suggested retail price of $0.99.

Later this month, Founders Brewing Co. will launch Inspired Artist Black IPA, which is made with malted midnight wheat and a variety of hops with tropical characteristics. It contains 7.5 percent alcohol by volume and 88 International Bittering Units. A six-pack of 12-ounce bottles will have a suggested retail price of $9.99. Proceeds from the sale of the beer will benefi t ArtPrize, an open art competition that takes place in Grand Rapids, Mich., every year.

Klarbrunn Inc., owned and manufactured by Wis-Pak Inc., launched Vita Ice fl avored sparkling waters fortifi ed with vitamins and antioxidants. Available in Lemon Lime, Orange Mango, Acai Blueberry Pomegranate, Black Raspberry and Pink Grapefruit fl avors, Vita Ice drinks do not contain any calories or added sugars. A 17-ounce bottle has a suggested retail price between $0.89 and $0.99.
